The Itsy Bitsy Spider Packs a Big Punch!

Wow, the new year is here and what a way to begin! I was bitten by a spider after Christmas and found myself, face and neck swollen, in the ER on new years day. Feeling like I was run over by a truck (two or ten times I might add), I was unsure if I was getting the flu that my Son had, or what. But when I awoke new years day with a face the size of a basketball, I knew I could not wait to see the Doctor. Well, that was several days ago and now two trips to the ER, two IM shots of antibiotics, and two oral antibiotics on my night stand. I will be seeing the Doctor tomorrow and am told that I just may have to go into the hospital for IV antibiotics. Why that couldn't be done already is an insurance criteria question, I was not BAD enough yet, but they don't think the new antibiotic will work well enough to keep me out of the hospital, so I must sit and pray they are wrong and wait to see if I get better or worse or stay the same. What a trip down the rabbitt hole this has been! Meanwhile, my computer was diagnosed by the Geek squad, then I was told that they were wrong in their diagnosis. SO two more computer speacialists only to find that the initial $70 paid to the geek squad was a waste of time and money because they misdiagnosed! Attempts to discuss this with them have resulted in a 26 minute hold, followed by two lengthy waits that were finally picked up and hung up at the same instant! If I did business like them, I'd be OUT of business! But they are packed with shoppers who think that they know what they are doing! It is amazing to me! I have a new computer ordered, so it should be here in a few days and hopefully I will be here to get it! lol. Now you know why you haven't heard from me for a while and please accept my apologies. As soon as I feel better and have my computer I will get back to herbal remedies and calming blends, all this negative energy is very draining! I hope that your new year began well and that we all have a blessed, peaceful, and productive year to come!
